Introductory Children’s Auditing: This is often the first step a person does. It introduces one to what auditing is, and gives a person of any age the understanding of how auditing works. Professionally trained auditors deliver it. This service results in a personal awareness that Scientology technology really works!

Introduces the younger student to the three barriers to study, how to recognize them and what to do to handle them. It is also an appropriate tool that can be used as an initial instruction program for teachers, tutors and parents in the use and implementation of Study Technology.

This course provides further education in Study Technology. It gives students the tools to use what they've learned in life — as the title states, it provides students with tools they can actually use in their lives.

This course utilizes simple text and clear explanations to provide students with the basics in grammar, spoken communication and written communication. Its clarity is key in preventing students from developing an all too common distaste for the subject. It helps students clarify grammar with the purpose of improving their ability to communicate in speech and in writing.

This course provides students with the means to get the most out of their education. Students learn everything from finding words quickly to understanding the symbols in dictionaries. It opens doors for those who would otherwise be unable to understand even the simplest of terms.

Successes from Children’s and Teens’ Services

A mom says, "My son Alan spent his summer getting auditing with Eric  here at the Palo Alto Mission. He really loved it and looked forward to it everyday. The wins he had were great. He said this auditing was the best he has done. I noticed that he has become happier.  Since he is the middle child, he was being picked on from both sides.  He was angry a lot and that went away.  He is now more willing to stand up for himself so he is no longer the victim. He has become more willing to do his school work and his ability to read has really improved. Thank you!”

M.W. (shown with her sister)  completed a Life Improvement course, The  Personal Efficiency Course and says, "I have learned many things in this course. One of my favorite things I learned is about relationships.   For example, if my sister and I disagreed on what TV channel to watch, our communication and affinity (the degree of liking a person feels for another) would also go down and we would start to argue.  But, if we started talking, we would be able to solve our fight.  By knowing all this, I get along (or at least have the ability to) with my sister a lot better.  I learned a lot and totally and completely enjoyed this course and I would definitely recommend it to anyone."

T.K.  has completed the How to Use a Dictionary course and says: "It was fun for me because I've learned many new things about a dictionary.   Also it helped me on school work and homework. It was very interesting for me. I've learned more about adverbs, adjectives and verbs.  It has also very good information about parts of speech and other things."

J.H.  completed the auditing about morals based on the book The Way to Happiness.  He says, "This bit of auditing was very enlightening.  I have done courses on happiness and how to achieve it but I still had a hard time staying on the way to happiness.  This auditing has a more solid feel to it.  I find myself following the precepts instinctively.  I know how to be happier now. People are happier around me. It's a very welcome feeling to know I can make myself and others happy."
